Occupational Therapist Opportunity at Kaiser Permanente

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that will involve working with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating the physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs of patients to determine their current level of functioning.

You will develop and implement treatment plans that involve the patient, family, and social support systems. Your goal will be to help patients reach reasonable goals, coordinate and collaborate on treatment options, advocate for them, facilitate environmental modifications, and create new support systems.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that involve patients, families, and social support systems
  • Provide treatments based on established departmental guidelines and protocols
  • Complete chart documentation according to record review checklist criteria
  • Provide written documentation that is legible, complete, and timely
  • Maintain professional competency by attending continuing education applicable to the specific patient population treated
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of post-op and splinting experience
  • Graduate of accredited program in Occupational Therapy
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LICENSE (in the state where care is provided)

Our estimated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
