About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Houston. As a key member of our expansion team, you will be responsible for implementing new business initiatives within large accounts, identifying new sales and customer growth opportunities, and working closely with our Product Team to ensure a competitive and compelling service and product offering.

About the Role:

  1. Business Strategy: Develop and implement business development plans to drive growth and expansion in the Americas shipping market. Work closely with the Head of EMEA to set short and medium-term business objectives and be responsible for their implementation.
  2. Sales and Marketing: Act as the first point of contact for new potential clients in the Americas region when they are seeking information on products and services RightShip provides. Research organisations and individuals to find new opportunities with targeted focus on dry bulk charterers, oil and gas charterers, trading and commodity organisations to develop an effective sales pipeline.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Leverage existing and develop new strategic relationships in the Americas region to facilitate growth. Communicate RightShip's product and service portfolio and new business strategy to customers and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen with a penchant for data and insights to support innovation.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in SaaS or PaaS sales and/or software sales highly advantageous.
