Key Responsibilities:

  • Nutrition Assessment and Care Planning:
  1. Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to identify individual needs and preferences.
  2. Develop and implement personalized care plans, addressing dietary requirements and restrictions.
Counseling and Education:
  1. Provide expert nutrition guidance to residents, focusing on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
  2. Engage with families to address their concerns and provide support.
Documentation and Communication:
  1. Maintain accurate records of resident nutrition information, ensuring seamless collaboration among healthcare teams.
  2. Participate in regular meetings and updates with interdisciplinary teams.
Professional Development:
  1. Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  2. Attend conferences, workshops, and webinars to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and membership in The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with nutritional software programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Remuneration:

$22.40 - 33.60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
