Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Physician to join our team of medical professionals. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose health issues, and develop treatment plans that meet state and national standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our team to provide patients with physical medicine and general medicine services.
- Perform trigger point injections and joint injections as needed.
- Collaborate with PM&R doctors, Physical therapists, Chiropractors, and Acupuncturists to achieve patient health goals.
- Order laboratory and radiology tests, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Analyze reports, test results, and medical records to diagnose conditions and propose treatment options.
- Prescribe medications when necessary, provide treatment regimens, and document treatment plans.
- Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure up-to-date allergy information before prescribing.
- Provide advice on lifestyle and diet changes to improve patient health or treat health issues.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Record complete, timely, and legible medical records.
Qualifications:
- Experience providing general medicine, physical medicine, and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
- Experience prescribing medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health issues.
- Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues.
- Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating to ensure positive patient experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited U.S. medical school.
- Current State Medical Practitioner License.
- Current DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing.
