Overview

Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational inputs into the design process and coordination of design functionality are accounted for in the operational planning, training, and operations of the AxStation. This includes developing the concept of operations for the AxStation vehicle, systems, and subsystems, as well as coordinating and ensuring user inputs into the design of the systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the concept of operations for the AxStation vehicle, systems, and subsystems.
  • Coordinate and ensure user inputs into the design of the systems.
  • Ensure ops products are in sync with the vehicle design schedule and the appropriate inputs and outputs are coordinated and completed on time to support the entry into service for the AxStation.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving measures to benefit the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with the program to ensure the operational planning, training, and operations of the AxStation are aligned with the company's goals and values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in engineering or science.
  • 10+ years of experience performing in a role related to experiment science and cargo support, preferably for ISS.
  • Experience in customer interfacing role.
  • Experience across multiple portions of the product lifecycle (concept definition through operations and use) preferred.
