Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will be responsible for operating in multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Mammography, to produce accurate diagnostic examinations and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of diagnostic procedures in more than one modality.
  • Program the computer to ensure completion of exams and store scan data correctly.
  • Coordinate and prioritize procedures to maintain high patient care and continuity.
  • Ensure accurate coding and entry of charges in the billing system.
  • Demonstrate competence with all age-specific groups to ensure proper completion of studies.
  • Comply with policies, procedures, and standards outlined by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain adherence to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT, RT (R), or other qualified registries per scope of practice.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Three years' experience in a clinical Imaging setting is highly preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
