Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Dialysis team at Avera McKennan Hospital. As a dialysis nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing acute dialysis therapy in our dedicated 11-bed unit.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care and manage a caseload of patients undergoing dialysis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure
  • Nephrology Certification preferred
