At Garnet Health, we're seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join our team of visionary leaders and dedicated professionals. As a Physician in Endocrinology, you'll have the opportunity to provide patient-centric care to individuals of all ages with endocrine disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients with endocrine disorders.
- Manage disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, obesity, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems.
- Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting and in other in-patient units, performing consults and providing care in out-patient clinics.
- Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent and non-emergent conditions.

Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy.
- 3-5 years of experience in Endocrinology care settings.
- NY State Medical License, Board Certification in Internal Medicine, and Board Certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
- Current and ongoing BLS certification, ACLS preferred, Current Opioid Prescriber Training Certificate, and Current Infectious Certificate.
Working Conditions:
- Works primarily inside and may occasionally work outdoors.
- Frequent contact with various Garnet Health staff, sales representatives, employees, and community members.
Physical Demands:
- Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push over 75 lbs.
Mental Demands:
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, organize and synthesize new information, and prioritize tasks.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, and flexibility.
