Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operations Associate to join our team at Vibram. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing various duties within the mixing department, including operating production equipment, assisting regular operators, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Production Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate production equipment, including belt loaders, rear hopper operators, mill operators, stackers, compounders, and other equipment as required.
  • Assist Regular Operators: Provide support to regular operators by performing tasks such as placing plastic sheets between slabs, supplying pallets and skids, filling compounder's bins, and general material handling.
  • Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Detect and report material or equipment problems, maintain equipment and area in a neat and orderly condition, and follow all safety rules, regulations, and practices.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed by management.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: Minimum 6-12 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's

  • Oral and Written Communication: Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations
  • Teamwork: Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team spirit
