Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our transplant team. As a renal transplant nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing kidney, pancreas, and liver transplants. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing renal transplant surgery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest transplant procedures and best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
