Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Lead Electrical Systems Engineer, focusing on comprehensive electrical design and operational services within the water and wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients to:

  • Design Electrical Systems: Develop and implement designs for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. This includes power distribution, lighting, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Equipment Specification: Investigate and specify commercially available equipment tailored to project requirements and current technologies.
  • Cost Management: Estimate project costs and maintain oversight of expenses throughout the design process.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with other disciplines, including process engineering, HVAC, mechanical systems, and equipment suppliers to align design and scheduling.
  • Site Observations: Conduct regular site visits and provide additional services as stipulated in the contract.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • A current Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or the ability to secure one within six months.
  • A passion for working within the consulting industry.
  • Experience in municipal water and wastewater sectors, with a solid understanding of electrical processes related to these systems.
