Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a special client in Raleigh, NC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team and provide continuous care to a child with high acuity needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity nursing and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems and concerns
Requirements:
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of NC
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
