We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including obstetrical, high-risk OBGYN, general, and regional anesthesia, as well as emergency and level 1 trauma anesthesia.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans, taking into account patient-specific needs and medical histories.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and laboratory tests, to identify potential anesthesia risks.
- Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Develop and maintain expertise in various anesthesia techniques and technologies, including advanced airway management and pain management.
- Current NYS RN License and Registration, BSN, and MSN.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and oral/written communication skills.
- Certification as a CRNA within the first year of hire.
