About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our veterinarians, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Triage and manage patients throughout their visit, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Partner with veterinarians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, utilizing your expertise in laboratory procedures, imaging, and anesthesia.
  • Process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates, and utilize imaging modalities to inform patient care.
  • Assist with sedation and anesthetic events, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide inpatient care, including treatments and nursing duties, to ensure the well-being of our patients.
  • Administer medication, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting, with a preference for ECC experience.
  • RVT, VTS, or VACSP certification preferred but not required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of anesthetic monitoring and laboratory procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care and a positive outlook in a fast-paced environment.
