Cloud DevOps Automation Engineer with Cloud Database Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Automation Engineer with expertise in cloud databases, particularly PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud services and a strong background in automating cloud databases like AWS RDS PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities:
Create mechanisms and workflows for granular backups of specific databases within an RDS/AURORA instance.
Develop automation approaches using GitOps pipelines and propose solutions that leverage AWS serverless solutions.
Design database solutions that optimize availability, cost, and performance dimensions.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud databases like AWS RDS PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora PostgreSQL.
Strong familiarity with scripting languages like Python for automating cloud databases.
Ability to work in GitOps pipelines and develop automation approaches.
Experience with AWS serverless solutions and database design for optimal availability, cost, and performance.
