Optician Specialist

Eagle View Eye Care is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for greeting patients, selling eyewear, adjusting and repairing glasses, and measuring prescriptions with a lensometer.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service
• Selling eyewear and ensuring a seamless shopping experience
• Adjusting and repairing glasses to ensure a perfect fit
• Measuring prescriptions with a lensometer and inputting data accurately
• Assisting patients with frame selection and answering questions
• Verifying vision insurance and processing payments
• Fabricating lenses to fit patient frames and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Checking in patients and answering miscellaneous questions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years of college in a science field preferred
• 1 year of experience in the field preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask
