We are seeking a reliable Construction Site Worker to join our team at Charah Solutions, Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of environmental services and byproduct sales to the power generation industry.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role:

As a Construction Site Worker, you will be responsible for performing various duties on a construction site as directed by site leadership.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipment
  • Sweeping and mopping trailer floor, cleaning work area and washing trucks
  • Flagging vehicles in and out of the construction site
  • Learning, following, and promoting all safety regulations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license
  • Minimum one-year experience working in a construction or similar environment preferred
  • General knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment & Conditions:

This position requires a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

You must be able to climb, maintain body equilibrium, reach, grasp, bend, and walk/stand for extended periods.

You must also be able to hear and see naturally or with correction, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in loud environments with atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin.
