About the Role

Copper Springs East, a leading provider of behavioral health services, is seeking a highly skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of Changing People's Lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to promote patient engagement and participation in therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate with nursing and program staff to achieve treatment goals and objectives.
  • Provide direction and guidance to nursing staff regarding activity-related groups and interventions.
  • Participate in treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreational, Music, or Art Therapy or a related field.
  • Licensure or certification as required by state of practice guidelines.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with a focus on chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
