About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Contribute to the professional practice of nursing by staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of RN experience required; 6K Sign-On Bonus for candidates with more than 1 year of RN experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License; Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire required or must be obtained during nursing orientation; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on clinical area standards; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical area standards.
