The Integrity National Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Floor Technician to join their team. As a key member of the facilities maintenance department, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of various areas within the facility.
About the Role:
- This position involves sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and cleaning cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways, and stairwells.
- Strip and wax tile floor, concrete, and terrazzo flooring.
- Other duties may be assigned by the crew leader or supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of machines, including single discs, boost machines, wet/dry vacuums, ride-on floor machines, squeegees, mops, and buckets.
- Must be experienced in using chemicals for stripping old wax and applying new wax through different application methods.
- Adapt to and deal with adverse flooring conditions, such as uneven surfaces or slippery floors.
- Complete jobs in a timely manner as directed by the crew leader, supervisor, or project manager.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three years related experience and/or training in floor care and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Information: $20.54 per hour. Schedule: Monday to Friday - 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Benefits: Opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop skills in floor care and maintenance, and contribute to the upkeep of a federal facility. Pay rate includes a competitive hourly wage. *A strong criminal background check is required due to the facility being a federal location.*
