We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Caregiver to provide non-medical personal care and assistance to our veteran clients in the Glendale, AZ area.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship
- Observing and recording client activities and changes, and reporting to the administrator
- Performing duties as outlined in the Client Service Plan
The Home Caregiver will be responsible for:
- Assisting clients with toileting, transfers, and ambulation
- Performing housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
- Preparing and serving meals, with assistance from clients when needed
- Assisting with shopping and errands
- Reporting any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
- Acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
To be successful in this role, the candidate must:
- Be available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Have experience as a Caregiver or in a related field
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Be willing to travel at least 45 minutes
- Have Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client)
- Be able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Have adequate physical endurance
