Job Summary:

The Medical Director will serve as the responsible Physician and health authority, providing overall supervision for clinical services to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care to patients. This role requires strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work harmoniously with staff and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise clinical services and ensure compliance with national standards
  • Provide on-call services and respond to urgent or emergency situations
  • Review and approve clinical protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Manage referrals to outside healthcare facilities and ensure continuity of care
  • Represent the healthcare program in discussions with local civic groups and visiting officials
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • Fully licensed to practice in the state of employment
  • Current DEA Registration
  • Preferred Board Certified
  • Fluent in English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
