We are seeking a Patient Collections Specialist to join our team in Tracy, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Contacting patients and guarantors to secure payment for services provided based on an aging report with balances.
  2. Contacting patients when credit card payments are declined.
  3. FOLLOWING up with refund requests.
  4. Documenting all calls and actions taken in the appropriate systems.
  5. Confirming and updating patient and guarantor insurance and patient demographics information.
  6. Establishing payment arrangements with patients and guarantors and following up on all payment plans.
  7. Documenting patient complaints and disputes and forwarding them to the appropriate person for follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Must excel in interpersonal communication, customer service, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to type 25-45 words per minute.

Our company offers a competitive hourly rate pay range of $16.00 to $18.00, with an annual range of $33,280 to $37,440.00. We also offer a bonus opportunity with a team bonus of $0 to $500 per month and a profit bonus of $0 to $500 per month. Additionally, we offer a total compensation opportunity with examples of annual base pay ranging from $39,280 to $55,440.
