About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Tech Associate to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University. As a Radiology Tech Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our radiology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other clinical staff in providing patient care and support.
  • Transport patients to and from radiology departments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient support devices and provide overall patient care.
  • Assist in radiological rooms by providing patients with necessary items and supporting technologists as needed.
  • Inspect and replenish stock and linen in patient care areas, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies.
  • Prepare examination rooms for procedures and provide back-up support to front office and film room staff.
  • Train new transporters/escorts in proper patient care techniques and procure patient documentation as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Any combination of training and/or experience that allows the incumbent to perform listed duties.
  • Previous medical office experience desired.
  • CPR certification required.
