Position Summary
CHS Inc. is seeking a dedicated Crop Applicator/Operations Specialist. This hybrid role involves responsibilities as both a Crop Applicator and Operations Specialist, depending on seasonal demands and business requirements. This position offers a diverse range of tasks in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Crop Applicator, you will:
1. Apply fertilizers and crop protection products with a high degree of responsibility and independence.
2. Develop relationships with local farmers to understand their chemical and fertilizer requirements.
3. Operate sprayer/floater machinery, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient application of products.
4. Gain hands-on experience with various machinery and perform routine equipment maintenance.

As an Operations Specialist, your duties will include:
1. Loading and unloading grain, agronomy, and feed products.
2. Conducting scheduled maintenance and repairs on equipment.
3. Monitoring and maintaining grain quality, as well as mixing/loading fertilizer and chemical products.
4. Assisting in loading trains and obtaining necessary certifications to operate equipment, including the potential to acquire a CDL.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, or Agriculture Application.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license with Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
- Applicator's license and relevant chemical application education.
- Forklift certification and a background in farming/agriculture.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and load up to 75 lbs.
