Pet Grooming Trainee

Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for furry friends? Do you have a knack for making pets look and feel their best? As a Pet Grooming Trainee at PetSmart, you'll embark on an exciting journey to develop your skills and become a certified pet stylist.
Our Grooming Training ProgramOur comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to succeed in the pet grooming industry. You'll progress through four stages, each building on the previous one:
- Stage 1: Bather - Get hands-on experience with our pets, learning about different dog breeds and styling under the guidance of our salon leader.
- Stage 2: Grooming Academy - Attend our Grooming Academy, where you'll gain insights from experienced trainers and dive deeper into breed styling, caring for different dog breeds, and mastering tools and clippers.
- Stage 3: Groomer Trainee - Put your new skills to work in our salon, working under the leadership and oversight of experienced groomers to develop your skills and confidence.
- Stage 4: Pet Stylist in Training - Take your skills to the next level, building relationships with clients, advising on styles, and sharing in the joy of seeing pets leave our salon looking and feeling their best.
