Job Title: Straight Truck Driver

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a skilled and experienced Straight Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 26-foot box truck to transport and deliver general and specialized cargo, goods, or materials in liquid, loose, packaged, or palletized form.
  • Local delivery of general and specialized freight in accordance with DOT regulations and company SOPs to ensure timely delivery on regular and ad hoc runs.
  • Keep and maintain logs of activities in accordance with DOT regulations as to the hours driven and condition of vehicle.
  • Report information to dispatcher via cell phone or computer on schedule, road conditions, weather, mechanical, or other important situations or conditions that may adversely impact delivery deadline.
  • Assist warehouse staff when needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • No CDL License required.
  • Good driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Must pass drug test and background check.
