About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Addiction Specialist to join our team at Ascension Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive, and developmental disorders and disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in developing individualized treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, group and family therapy, as needed. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care. Additionally, they will participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences to discuss treatment goals and progress.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: One or more of the following is required:
    • Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
    • Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
    • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
    • Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Required License: LCP or LSW
  • Preferred License: LCPC or LCSW

As an Addiction Specialist at Ascension Health, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
