Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Radiology Technician
- Field: Allied Health Professional

- 40 hours weekly

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, alleviating any pre-examination anxiety by clearly explaining the process in understandable terms. Ensure all necessary consent forms are completed.
- Conduct a variety of x-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols. Position patients appropriately for radiographic imaging, utilizing immobilization and support devices as needed. Adjust x-ray machinery and controls to achieve optimal exposure, while monitoring patient safety and condition throughout the procedure.
- Process and maintain the integrity of exposed images, ensuring proper labeling and record-keeping. Utilize film markers accurately and ensure all images are marked correctly for identification.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
