Cashier - Cactus Yards

Craft Culinary Concepts is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the front-line contact for our guests, responsible for providing quick and efficient service while maintaining a clean and sanitary work station.

• Greet all guests in a prompt and friendly fashion, building rapport to drive future sales.
• Accurately fill guest orders by relaying information to a runner, a cook via register, manual tickets, or obtaining needed food and beverage items on your own.
• Provide correct change to guests and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
• Comply with all Craft Culinary Concepts and State liquor service policies and rules, if serving alcoholic beverages.
• Keep immediate work area clean and free of debris, and assist in keeping the assigned location clean and in compliance with Craft Culinary Concepts and local health department standards.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a valid TEAM, TIPs, or AZ Title 4 certificate if 18 or older to serve alcohol.
• Must have a valid Pima County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each shift worked.
• Must have knowledge of cash handling, including the ability to total orders and make change without the use of a cash register.
• Must be able to effectively use a cash register and credit card machines.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, unless currently enrolled.
• Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check, and math assessment involving all US monetary units.
• Must be able to work with a group as well as independently.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used by guests who typically visit the work location.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Preferred 2+ years of counter server or equivalent experience in a high-volume restaurant environment or another stadium/arena/venue.
• Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers, supervisors, and guests.

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, tightly quartered environment.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise.
