We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Humanus. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills and developing recommendations to address their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice, to determine their communication needs and develop recommendations.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide information and develop plans for services.
  • Facilitate meetings, such as IEP conferences and parent meetings, to develop plans and provide information.
  • Instruct students to implement goals for remediation of speech and language deficits.
  • Prepare documentation, including evaluations, observations, and progress reports, to provide written support and recommendations.
  • Present information on topics related to speech and language services to communicate information and gain feedback.
  • Research resources and methods to determine appropriate approaches for students' speech and language services.
  • Screen students to determine the need for further individualized assessment.
  • Assist other personnel as needed to support them in completing their work activities.
  • Participate in meetings to receive and provide information and meet credential requirements.
  • Direct support staff to assist with the delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed/certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Must have up-to-date PA Clearances, including FBI Fingerprints, PA Criminal Background Check, and PA Child Abuse.
