Job Summary

**Job Title:** MRI Technologist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory.
  • Implement and maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care is consistent with established standards.
Requirements
  • **Education:** Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) required or Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT(MR)) preferred.
  • **Experience:** Minimum 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all MRI competencies at the end of orientation period.
  • **Licensure, Registration, Certification:** Minimum ARRT(R); ARRT(MR); BLS certification within 14 days of hire; state license as required.
  • **Special Skills:** Basic computer literacy skills.
