TV Release Quality Specialist Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our TV Release Quality team at Netflix. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for testing, measuring, understanding, and communicating the overall quality of our TV streaming application before and after its release to production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and build innovative solutions to improve our understanding of the quality of the TV streaming application.
- Tell the quality story of our product through improved observability, alerting, dashboarding, and tools.
- Strengthen our test automation foundations and signals.

Requirements:
- Experience defining release/regression/smoke testing strategies for large applications developed across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Javascript.
- Expertise in troubleshooting highly complex web automated testing failures and working directly with developers to triage issues quickly.
- Ability to work with large data sets to answer questions, extract patterns, and make decisions.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $100,000 and $720,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
