Job Summary

The Audiologist is a key role at MultiCare, working with individuals who have hearing, balance, and related ear problems. This position involves providing essential hearing services to make a daily impact on the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic hearing tests, including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry.
  • Interpret test results for patients and physicians, making recommendations regarding medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and other related services.
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and fit the aids to the patient, providing detailed instruction on operation and maintenance.
  • Provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this office.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited audiology program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
  • Current Washington State Audiology Certification.
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $75,911.10 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
