Job Overview

HPC Foodservice is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers using Company CDL vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Company CDL vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate electronic Omnitracs log
  • Read English for product delivery invoices
  • Handle cooler, frozen, and damaged returns at time of delivery
  • Request paperwork for pick up items after day of delivery
  • Lift, move products up to 80 lbs.
  • Push/pull weight in excess of 200 lbs. using hand-truck
  • Use battery powered or manual pallet jack if needed
  • Accountable for driver check-in with return items upon return to facility
  • Organize and turn in all paperwork and checks/cash at driver check-in upon return to facility
  • Follow directions and adhere to preferred work methods and safety rules
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid CDL license required
  • DOT medical card required
  • Able to interact with a variety of individuals and personalities
