Job Title: OT Specialist - Float Position

The OPTiM company is seeking an experienced OT Specialist to join our team in Savannah. As an OT specialist, you will be responsible for providing therapy services to patients with physical, neurological, mental, cognitive, or developmental conditions that have resulted in disability or functional loss.

Job Summary
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with various conditions, including physical, neurological, mental, cognitive, or developmental disabilities.
  • Determine patient plans of care while providing and supervising follow-up care.
  • Promote efficient clinical workflow leading to positive patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
  1. Float between OPTiM locations on a regular basis.
  2. Supervise, monitor, and direct Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs), Rehab Aides, and OT/OTA students.
  3. Assess patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other medical team members.
  4. Communicate regularly with medical staff, patients, OPTiM team members, and management.
  5. Help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
  6. Improve patients' basic motor functions and reasoning ability.
  7. Document and code therapy services provided according to billing standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Current state Occupational Therapist license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, and EHR system proficiency.
Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
