Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Line Mechanic to join our team at The Structures Company, LLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing aircraft structure parts and system components, ensuring high-quality and efficient installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Assembly: Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components, including control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, and doors.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet requirements, perform necessary rework to ensure conformity, and maintain a defect-free installation.
  • Tool Operation: Use a variety of tools and equipment, including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools, wrenches, checking tools, witness gauges, and other specialized tools.
  • Documentation: Update and sign required logs and records as required, and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, 1 year aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience, and A&P license may offset the one year of experience required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams, use all tools required to do the job, and perform work such as basic drilling, reaming, and ship fitting parts.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solumina and Smarteam Experience: Experience with Solumina and Smarteam software preferred.
