Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and validating algorithms and tools for sensor integration.
  • Enhancing and innovating subsystems related to mapping, localization, and object detection.
  • Facilitating the application of perception and vehicle navigation for our machinery.
  • Designing data models and implementing machine learning techniques to interpret extensive datasets.
  • Collaborating on the development of sophisticated algorithms and software frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Product Development and Autonomy.
  • Proficient in software development using C++, Python, and Matlab.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Familiarity with mission planning and IoT connectivity.
  • Experience in vehicle autonomy systems.

Travel Requirements:

Some travel may be necessary.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily onsite at a Vermeer facility, with potential for occasional remote work.
