Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and performance assessments of systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the installation and startup of new refrigeration systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance and system performance to track progress and identify trends.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure a skilled workforce and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with NH3 (ammonia refrigeration) systems and a strong understanding of refrigeration principles.
  • CIRO or RETA certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in industrial refrigeration, particularly in food processing plants, cold storage facilities, or chemical plants.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the team.
