KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and operate equipment at designated water production facilities and booster stations.
- Manage and uphold distribution systems, including mains, valves, hydrants, and service lines.
- Oversee equipment at wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations.
- Operate and maintain sewer collection systems, including collection mains and pump stations.
- Troubleshoot and repair service piping and related equipment.
- Conduct routine water quality analyses in line with established protocols.
- Make necessary operational adjustments to meet state and federal water quality standards.
- Adjust chemical treatments to ensure compliance with water quality requirements, including calculating ratios and dosages.
- Complete customer service work orders and maintain accurate documentation of activities.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and professional manner, adhering to company policies and applicable laws.
- Assist with additional tasks or projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with database, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Mathematical skills for performing calculations related to water treatment operations.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of the importance of preventing wastewater pollution.
- Ability to manage processes through computer-controlled systems.
- Team-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
CAREER PROGRESSION:
- FO Trainee: Must obtain either a C Well or Grade I wastewater license within 18 months.
- FO I: Requires a minimum of a C Well or Grade I license.
- FO II: Must meet dual licensing requirements with either a B Well or Grade II license.
- FO III: Requires dual licensing of at least a B Well and Grade II, plus an A Well or Grade III license.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and potentially hazardous conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Travel to various work sites may be required.
- Must obtain a CDL Class C with Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
- Availability for on-call duties during nights and weekends to support a 24/7 operation.
