About the Position

We are seeking a Recovery Mentor Advisor to join our team at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. This role will provide peer recovery support to individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders, while promoting a Trauma Informed Care perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reflect positive peer values that include non-hierarchy and mutuality.
  • Comply with and implement the regulations, policies, and procedures that pertain to peer-delivered service goals and protocol.
  • Participate in regular clinical and task supervisions.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs, commensurate with educational preparation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
