Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Plainfield, IN. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual verification of prescriptions to ensure clinical and legal accuracy
  • Verify medication quantities and ensure proper directions, patient, doctor, refill, auxiliary label, and packaging information are included with prescriptions
  • Assist in the management of patient medication therapy and/or service coordination
  • Troubleshoot prescriptions and take corrective action to resolve exceptions
  • Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy technicians
  • Maintain and track medication inventory
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy)
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice
  • Availability to work 10-hour shifts (4pm - 2am)
  • Preference for a closed-door pharmacy setting (no adjudications or direct patient contact)
