About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Dividend Restaurant Group. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the dish machine to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
  • Sort and stack dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated areas.
  • Wash items by hand as needed and place clean items in designated storage areas.
  • Break down and clean the dish machine at the end of each shift.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance throughout the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning trash cans, and sanitizing dumpster and refuse areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Prior dishwashing experience preferred.
  • Able to operate dish machine to company and manufacturer specifications.
  • Manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items.
  • Strong team-work orientation, coupled with the ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Clean and professional appearance.
  • Able to work a part-time, flexible schedule that varies according to business need.
Working Conditions
  • Able to stand 100% of shift.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to cleaning solutions.
  • Frequent exposure to water.
  • Occasional exposure to heat and cold, inside or out.
