We are currently seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Transitioning and Uplifting Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality counseling services to clients struggling with addiction. Your expertise will help individuals overcome their struggles and achieve long-term recovery.

About the Position
This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. You will work closely with clients, families, and referral sources to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address their specific needs. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing circumstances will be invaluable assets in this position.

Responsibilities
* Assess client needs through thorough evaluations and identify opportunities for growth and development.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities and best practices.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create individualized aftercare plans that address client needs and promote sustained recovery.

Qualifications
* Active Certification or licensure: CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT.
* At least 1-3 years of experience working in an IOP/OP setting.
* Strong understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with certification or specialized training a plus.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits
* Competitive hourly rate: $30-$38 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
* Part-time schedule: Up to 25 hours per week, with potential for growth as the program expands.
