Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Tech to join our team at Bigelow 6 - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. As a Critical Care Tech, you will assist patients with daily living needs, monitor and read vital signs, draw blood, and obtain EKGs. You will also respond to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality and monitoring patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and read vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Draw blood and obtain EKGs as needed
  • Respond to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality and monitoring patient safety
Requirements
  • Must have recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care
  • Preferred: Licensed, certified or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
  • Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire
