Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with catheterization procedures, including patient preparation and positioning
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital or medical facility
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
