About the Role:- Provide direct patient care to infants and families in the NICU, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in high-risk deliveries, administering medications, inserting IV lines, and utilizing ventilators/CPAP as needed.
- Collaborate with Neonatologists, Pediatricians, Respiratory Therapists, and Social Workers to provide education and support to families.
- Chart patient information using electronic medical records, transitioning to EPIC as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).
- Obtain licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- AHA BLS certification and additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
