We are looking for a Risk Mitigation Coordinator to join our team at Apex Sentry Inc. As a leader in the security industry, we provide well-trained, professional security guards for discerning organizations.

Job Summary:

The Risk Mitigation Coordinator will be responsible for supervising staff on assigned shifts, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. This position requires effective risk assessment, mitigation, and management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide Security Guards on shift, including clock-in/clock-out management, time-off requests, and addressing substandard performance.
  • Conduct regular patrols and spot-checks to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage conflicts and disturbances according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, including Incident Reports.
  • Coach and motivate employees to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Assign work areas for Security Guards and ensure adequate staffing levels for assigned shifts, including weekends.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and distress calls from clients and Apex Sentry employees.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Apex Sentry employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • 24-Hour Security Guard Certification required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with various personnel and the general public.
  • Ability to observe situations and determine appropriate responses.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and effective manager.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Law enforcement or military background preferred.
  • Enforce Contract/Client Standards.
  • Work in various environments, such as cold weather, rain, snow, or heat.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods.
