Job Summary

Edge Electric, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in the installation and repair of electrical systems, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
  • Perform tasks such as installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, and assembling parts.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and tools.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the electrical field.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An Apprentice License.
  • Eagerness to learn the electrical trade and/or prior experience as an electrical apprentice.
  • Efficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work well alone or as a member of a team.

Working Environment & Conditions

  • Standing for long periods.
  • Climbing ladders/scaffolds.
  • Loud work environment with other trades.
  • Some may work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions.
  • Push, pull, or carry heavy fixtures/material.
  • Occasionally move or lift more than 75 lbs.
  • Travel may be required as per project needs 20-30%.
  • May occasionally work beyond posted work hours as well as work overtime due to demand.
  • Some night's work may be required.
