About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot major problems and provide solutions.
  • Train and mentor Apprentice Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Service Foreman to ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
  • CDL certification
  • A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual Inspector certifications
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience or vocational training in diesel engine repair
  • Necessary tools to perform the position
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills
